Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Princess P

We are tangled hair and chubby smiles, Delighful squeels and Pampered piles, Sliding bums race down the stairs, Who gets there first, no one cares. Spills of milk as cereal flies, One wants more, another cries, What once was sleep, now is noise, They calm down with lots of toys. Smiling as the play together, He looks up to his big sister. Finally peace until the other, Loves too much on her little brother.

Beautiful Salt Lake Afternoon

Heck, Well What's Going On...

For those very few who, on occasion, wander over to our blog I will describe how things are going over here for the Maughans. Hmm. Well, for the most part life is pretty routine. We did, however, take a little vacation in late March. We took the kids to Murfeesburro, AR to "dig for diamonds" at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. We didnt find any diamonds, which Rachel sadly pointed out, but we did bring home some puppies. Which is great, most of the time.
We found ourselves on another unanticipated vacation, to attend the funeral and mourn the loss of our precious niece, Brooklyn Holbrook.

The children are now 4 and 2 and just as crazy as ever. Rachel will be starting Pre K soon and I dont know what Im going to do. Noah is constantly amazing us with his boyness, love of trucks and trains, and cute and always expounding vocabulary. It so interesting to watch their personalities grow and see how differently they are hardwired.

No one knows what the future holds and life proves to be most fulfilling when we live for just that day.
